Hotel Ristorante Miranda

Nice little hotel with great views over the lake. Breakfast and lunch was very good but the dinner was very underwhelming. They obviously (as the prices point out) have the ambition to make fine dining food but either the tastes are going in all directions or not there at all. We had high expectations for the night but left the dinner very disappointed. I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel but eat your dinner elsewhere.

Rooms are a bit dated decor wise but still very comfortable. Bed was firm and we slept well during our stay. All staff were brilliant,ready to help and fully invested in their responsibilities. All our dealings with the staff were excellent,from ordering food and drink to enquiring about local restaurants and attractions. Well done to all the fabulous staff,top class.

Always a pleasant stay. The rooms may not be as modern, it has the true Italian hospitality spirit. The breakfast and dinner are simply amazing. The food is of very high culinary standard. You have one of the best lake views out while enjoy food and drinks. Once the sun sets, you won’t be able to see much of the lake due to the glare inside the dinning room, hence the earlier you go and especially in the summer months, the experience is breathtaking. The staff is very professional and friendly.

If you want to find 'the real Italy', this is the place to go! The atmosphere is like the most welcoming family, but the service is like a 5-star hotel. And the food.. WOW! With their stunning location and views, some managers might be resting on their laurels - but not this one. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Mille Grazie!

Food 5/5 - taste was consistently great across the entire course menu. The flavor of different kind of fishes have been highlighted by other minor ingredients that were balancing perfectly the dish. - presentation is very elegant and portions were perfect to be able to enjoy the lunch without feeling stuffed at the end of the meal. Service 5/5 Personnel is young but acts in a very professional way without being too “classy”. The waiter did perfectly the job. Environment 5/5 The restaurant sits on a hill looking down to the lake. All the tables have the lake view and they are divided in two different rows (of course the first one has better view, but the second one still enjoyable). Moreover, there is a small park and terrace where you can walk and admire the view. Price 5/5 Here you pay the quality and the location. Overall it was fair and dishes were spot on. No complaints. For a course menu you look around 50€ + wine. There is always the “bistró” menu that is cheaper.
